Dr. Dowty specializes in kinesiology. In 1975, Dr. Dowty received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Logan College of Chiropractic, St. Louis , MO. During the next five years he continued to augment his training with Post-Graduate studies in Scoliosis management, Bio-Energy Synchronization, Applied Kinesiology, Clinical Kinesiology, Acupuncture and Functional Medicine associated with conditions of the Brain, Thyroid, and Neuropathy. In addition he worked in three internship positions of different specialties, moving from Missouri to Florida to Texas.
Having determined his own practice goals he moved to Wichita in the spring of 1980 and was the first to introduce the Kinesiology specialty to the Wichita area.
The Wichita Kinesiology Group provided effective kinesiology treatment. After 13 years, and two very successful clinic locations, in 1993 Dr. Dowty opened a beautiful office in the Boulevard Plaza, where fourteen young doctors were mentored to successful practices of their own.

The current office is at 5205 E. Kellogg Drive, on the south side of the freeway between Oliver and Edgemoor next to a comfortable “Suites” Hotel and the Scotch & Sirloin restaurant. Regardless of your direction of travel always take the Oliver exit and proceed East on the south side frontage road.
